It hasn’t been that long since Microsoft’s new gaming console was launched. Back in November last year the console was finally released, more or less around the same time that Sony released its new console, the PlayStation 4. Both have been battling it out in the market since then, and as per figures provided by the companies, it appears that PS4 has taken the lead. Presumably this is what has lead to the first ever Xbox One price cut in the UK, where its now down to £399.99, a £30 cut on its original price.
So far the Xbox One price cut has only been announced for the UK, Microsoft hasn’t said as yet if it plans to replicate the same in other markets as well. Apart from the price cut, the company today started accepting orders for a new Xbox One bundle that comes with a digital download of Titanfall at the aforementioned price. Despite that its price has been cut by £30, the Xbox One still has a long way to go if wants to match PS4 Pound for Pound. Sony’s console sells for £349.99, without the motion control camera whereas the Xbox One comes with the new Kinect. The new pricing goes in effect this Friday.
