Sprint Launches Harman Kardon Onyx Studio Speakers

When one thinks of Sprint, chances are you might be thinking about phones, tablets, and mobile services, but definitely not Bluetooth speakers, right? Well interestingly enough Sprint has recently announced that they will be getting into the speaker game with the launch of the Harman Kardon Onyx Studio, a set of Bluetooth speakers in which its availability will be exclusive from Sprint starting from the 25th of February. It will also be priced at $399.99. 

For those wondering, Harman Kardon is the same company behind the SoundSticks II speakers which were designed by Apple’s own Jony Ive and has been put on permanent display in New York City’s Museum of Modern Art.

Measuring 11-inches in diameter, the Onyx Studio isn’t particularly big and in a way could be considered almost compact. The speakers will be able to output 60W RMS of power, and will feature dual aluminum passive radiators and Digital Signal Processing to help enhance the sound. It will also come with built-in batteries that can be recharged and will provide around 5 hours of playing time on a full charge.
