Much has been said about the Sailfish OS before in the past, where we know that it will be able to support Android apps officially after Jolla spent some time mulling over the decision. Not only that, the first Sailfish OS smartphone was announced last year, but it has yet to capture the imagination (and subsequently, wallets) of the masses. Perhaps this move to work with South Korean conglomerate Samsung would help bring up the profile of Sailfish OS among consumers.
Maybe not wise to exchange your old Samsung to new Lumia, because you may get Sailfish OS to it soonish. My #1000 tweet ;)
