Back in 2013, ColorWare gave the same treatment to the Xbox One and according to Justin Cisewski, the CEO of ColorWare, “Our social media fans have been battling it out on which console is better. We gave them the Xbox One at the end of 2013 and now we are happy to offer the Sony PlayStation 4.” In fact ColorWare is offering their services to other companies where the can apply their own branding to the console, which we guess could be used in giveaways, presents, and so on.
There will be plenty of color options to choose from, and gamers will be able to mix and match the colors to their hearts content. Unfortunately all this customization comes at a steep price because a customized version of the PS4, including the controller, will set you back a whopping $749. However for those who have already bought their own PS4, you can send it in to ColorWare who will help you customize it for an additional $249.
Unfortunately for the send-in version, it does not include the DualShock 4 controllers. For those who wish to have customized controllers, you guys will need to buy them customized from ColorWare themselves where they will be priced at $109 each. If you’d like to learn more or to start customizing your PS4, head on over to ColorWare’s website for the details.
