nexus-7-2-review--015

Last year Google launched the updated version of its popular Nexus 7 tablet, it was more of an evolutionary update, with the new tablet essentially bringing better internal hardware in a very familiar shell. Once the tablet became available for sale, Google started offering a white version as well, albeit only in 32GB flavor. Even though most customers would feel that 32GB isn’t much in terms of onboard storage, many customers would rather opt for the 16GB model, seeing as how its carries a relatively lower price tag. Yesterday the Nexus 7 2013 16GB white showed up at Best Buy’s website momentarily, before the listing was pulled. Something’s amiss.

The white version of this popular tablet showed up only for a short time on Best Buy’s website, with a $199.99 price tag. The 32GB variant, which has been available since launch, retails for $269.99. Customers definitely save a whole lot of money if they compromise when it comes to onboard storage, and those who have been on the hunt for a 16GB variant might now have a reason to get their hopes up. Is it possible that Google is currently sitting on the 16GB white variant and plans to formally put it up for sale? Its possible for someone at Best Buy to have jumped the gun, so even if you take this with a grain of salt right now, its best to keep your hopes up that a white 16GB Nexus 7 2013 might be put up for sale in the near future.
