Just like how cowboys of yore rounded up cattle in the past, so too, have we done our fair bit of homework to round up rumors of the Samsung Galaxy S5. I guess even that is not enough, as well known Russian blogger Eldar Murtazin has shed additional light on the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S5, as he claims that his list of specifications for the upcoming smartphone is the most accurate. Hit the jump to find out the nitty gritty about what the Galaxy S5 will be all about, at least according to Eldar Murtazin.
First of all, the new flagship smartphone from Samsung is touted to arrive with a 5.24” display that will sport Quad HD (QHD, not qHD) resolution at 2560 x 1440 pixels. If this were to pan out as true, then the Samsung Galaxy S5 is by far and large the first Quad HD smartphone in the West, not to mention also being the first smartphone whose display passes the 500ppi barrier thanks to its pixel density of 560ppi.
Other than that, you should be able to find a 3,200mAh battery underneath the hood that will hopefully be able to last the distance. Whispers also have it that the Galaxy S5 will boast of increased internal memory of 32GB and 64GB, although it remains to be seen whether the crucial microSD memory card slot will be thrown into the mix. Apart from that, it should boast of a 16MP shooter at the back and a 3.2MP camera in front, and if the rumors don’t stop anytime soon, we will all be suffering from high blood pressure with the amount of salt taken.
