The launch of the Sound Blaster Roar is not the first time that this particular device was given a sneak peek at CES 2014 earlier this year in Las Vegas, and along the way, initial impressions seem to be favorable in the direction of the Sound Blaster Roar. The Sound Blaster Roar will be able to offer a bi-amplified design which makes use of a couple of amplifiers, where one of them will be dedicated to driving the lows and mids, while the other has been dedicated to delivering the highs. This would enable the speaker itself to deliver clear, high definition, well balanced music without missing a beat. Other specifications include speakerphone teleconference support, a microSD memory card slot, a siren, Bedtime Mode and Life Saver Mode. Expect to pick it up for $199 a pop. [Press Release]
