Well if the rumors are to be believed, Apple’s iWatch is said to be more health-focused, so by utilizing the knowledge and experience of someone like Raymann, they could be one step closer to achieving their goals. Neither Apple nor Philips has confirmed if Raymann has left to join the Cupertino company, but Philips has confirmed that Raymann no longer works at the company, but declined to say who or where is working at now. It would be interesting to see what sort of health benefits the iWatch would have as that is definitely a feature that would put it ahead of other wearable devices.
At the moment most wearable devices tend to be the same, in that they offer the ability to check messages, see who’s calling, and receive notifications. They also offer some kind of health function such as tracking your runs and so on, so by offering even more complex health functions, it could be what makes the iWatch stand out from the crowd.
