It’s starting to seem like the HTC M8 could be one of the worst kept secrets as far as smartphones are concerned in 2014. We’ve seen the device teased on YouTube, seen its photos leaked, and now thanks to recent tweets by @evleaks, it seems that AT&T and Verizon’s version of the handset has been leaked as well.
The handsets itself appear to be similar in design, naturally, the only difference is that AT&T’s model is shown in white/silver, while Verizon’s version is shown in gray/black, and obviously the different carrier logos as well.
Unfortunately apart from the fact that the handset will be arriving at the very least for both Verizon and AT&T, there’s no telling when the handset will be released. According to HTC’s invite, the handset will be unveiled on the 25th of March, so presumably the release will be shortly after that, we hope. The last thing HTC needs would be another delay like they experienced with the HTC One.
Based on what we know so far, the HTC M8, or the All New HTC One as it is being referred to, the handset will pack a 5-inch Full HD display, a quad-core chipset powered by Qualcomm, although we’re not sure if HTC will use the Snapdragon 800 or the Snapdragon 801.
It will also retain the UltraPixel camera, although in this case it seems that there will be a dual camera setup although we’re not sure what it is for at the moment. There is also no mention of whether it will arrive for T-Mobile and Sprint, but for the sake of their subscribers, we certainly hope that it will.
