Back in 2013 during BlizzCon, Blizzard announced the new World of Warcraft expansion, Warlords of Draenor. Now we know that World of Warcraft subscribers are starting to dip for a variety of reasons, such as the game being old and with its graphics considered “update”, and also it might be because there are newer and more exciting games out there available for free, with World of Warcraft being one of the few remaining subscription-based MMOs (newer MMOs appear to adopt the free-to-play model). In any case perhaps to make playing Warlords of Draenor a more enticing option, Blizzard has announced on its blog that gamers who were to pre-order the Digital Delux Edition of the game will be gaining several exclusive features.
These features include a free mount, a pet character, and also the ability to boost one of their characters to level 90 ahead of the expansion. Considering that every expansion increases the level cap, those who are planning on levelling a new character will undoubtedly find the task daunting and tedious, so the free boost to level 90 will no doubt be one of the more compelling reasons to pre-order the Digital Deluxe Edition of the game. Now it seems that Blizzard is also considering offering the boost to level 90 to other characters as well and are currently surveying different options that one might go about doing that. What do you guys think? Does the idea of levelling instantly to level 90 appeal to you?
