It has been quite a while since Microsoft released a major update for the Xbox Games Hub on its Windows Phone devices, but it appears that this might happen with the upcoming Windows Phone 8.1 update. This major platform update is expected to bring a revamped Xbox Games Hub, along with all of the new features and improvements it is rumored to. Purported UI of this revamped games hub has been leaked on the internet.
The leaked image shows a totally revamped user interface, which is much more cleaner and minimalist than before. Games are seen to be listed in tile interface as opposed to the list that are currently displayed. Moreover, the updated Xbox Games Hub is also said to bring SmartGlass integration. This image was leaked on Twitter by @WPLeaker, who does not mention the source of this image nor reveals when Windows Phone 8.1 is going to hit compatible devices. For all we know, this could be a fake image, which means that its better to take this with a grain of salt until Microsoft released Windows Phone 8.1. However, regardless of the fact that users might not be interested in the app much apart from its basic feature of launching games, it would definitely be nice to see it get a makeover.
