Android users have a plethora of options available to them if they don’t feel like using the stock keyboard that’s baked into the OS. The SwiftKey keyboard happens to be one of the most popular third-party keyboards for Android, offering features like Flow, which lets users punch in words by simply sliding their fingers across the keyboard. It appears that the popular keyboard might come over to iOS as well, through an app called SwiftKey Note. This according to famed Twitter leaker @evleaks, who has leaked a screenshot of the iOS app.

SwiftKey hasn’t dropped any hints recently that its preparing a new note taking app for iOS, so this happens to be the first time we have heard of it. Even if the app is launched, its not like the custom keyboard will be available system wide across iOS. Apple doesn’t allow developers that level of access, which is why the keyboard will be limited inside the note taking app. The existing SwiftKey Healthcare iOS application already lets doctors take notes with medical terminology, so the developer isn’t exactly venturing into unchartered territory. While its new note taking app might not immediately be able to challenge rivals, it apparently promises to provide a “super-fast typing experience.”
