Of course it is entirely possible that the website is basing these specs on the rumors, but at the same time it is also possible that they might have their own sources who tipped them off ahead of the device’s official announcement. Their listed sources includes a 4” FWVGA display with a dual-core processor clocked at 1GHz, a 5MP rear-facing camera, dual SIM support, and will run on Android 4.4 KitKat. Unfortunately the website did not mention anything about price or availability, so take it with a grain of salt for now. Assuming all the rumored specs we have heard recently are true, the Nokia Normandy is not exactly the most powerful Android handset around, but it could be like the Nokia N9 where it’s more of a statement than an actual product Nokia hopes to profit from.
What do you guys think? Do you reckon that if the Nokia Normandy were to go on and prove to be a commercial success that Microsoft might consider selling an Android handset on the side?
