Presumably the specs we heard from before could be its older prototype specs, but @evleaks claims that the Normandy will now be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor clocked at a speedier 1.7GHz. However apart from that bump in processor, the rest of the specs remain the same, which includes 1GB of RAM, 8GB of storage, a 5MP rear-facing camera, a 2,000mAh battery, and will come with Android 4.4 KitKat preinstalled with Nokia’s own UI on top, all of which is expected to cost under $250. @evleaks also revealed that the phone will most likely be part of Nokia’s Asha 4xx lineup, although the exact model number remains unknown for now.
Take it with a grain of salt for now, but with a slightly more speedy processor, would you consider getting the Nokia Normandy now? Hopefully Nokia will have more details for us come MWC 2014, so check back with us later for the details.
