Both 10 point touch display sizes offer full HD 1,920×1,080 pixel resolution. Customers get an Intel Atom quad-core processor with the 10 inch processor, which won’t be able to handle resource hungry tasks. Those looking for an edge can go for the 11.6 inch model with which they can get up to 4th generation Intel Core i5 1.6GHz processor and up to 8GB of DDR3L RAM. 64GB and 128GB on-board storage options are available across both models, with 256GB being offered only with the 11.6 inch model.
The new MIIX detachables have integrated JBL speakers, 5 megapixel rear and 2 megapixel front cameras, Windows 8.1, microSD card support, microUSB 3.0, microHDMI, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, region dependant LTE/3G and integrated graphics. The 10 inch MIIX 2 starts at $449 and the 11 inch at $699, the former becomes available in March and the latter in April through major retailers and the company’s website.
