LaCie Culbuto USB Key Looks Very Different From The Norm

[CES 2014] LaCie has come up with an extremely interesting design for a USB key, where it is known as the LaCie Culbuto. This particular USB key will definitely stand out from the rest, where it has been designed by French designer Constance Guisset. For those who are not Francophiles, Culbuto happens to be French for a toy that has a weighted base which will ensure that the object remains vertical even after it is knocked down.

I guess this is the same as those dummies which folks use to box, where it will sway all over the place, returning to be the same place once the inertia dissipates. As for the LaCie Culbuto, this particular USB key functions in a similar manner, where it bobs from side to side as it is poked whenever it is not hooked up to a computer. This storage device will feature a spherical solid metal base that comes topped with a silicone rubber stem alongside a USB 3.0 connector. You will be able to choose from 16GB and 32GB capacities, with prices starting from $49.99. If there is ever a design when it comes to USB flash drives which will be able to turn heads the moment you pull it out from your pocket, the LaCie Culbuto would be it.
