[CES 2014] To do the same thing and expect a different result, that would be madness, which is why the folks over at iRobot, purveyors of robotic technology-based solutions, intends to change the way that robotic vacuum cleaners keep your home nice and clean by delivering the iRobot Scooba 450 that is touted to clean your floors in a new way. The iRobot Scooba 450 will be available in North America from tomorrow onward, where it will make use of the new Scooba Three-Cycle Cleaning Process in order to maintain constantly clean floors as well as wash away up to 99.3% of bacteria. Not only that, the Scooba 450 has also been touted to be up to three times more effective at cleaning floors compared to previous Scooba models, at least according to iRobot.
As we mentioned earlier, the Scooba Three-Cycle Cleaning Process will automatically sweep and pre-soak, as it scrubs and then finishes with a final squeegee. The scrubbing brush itself will spin at more than 600 rpm in order to remove grime and messes, where it comes with an updated iAdapt Responsive Navigation Technology that has been optimized for wet floor care. The Scooba 450 can be used anywhere you would use a mop and bucket, and it is a no-brainer to use. You get cleaning options to choose from – a full 40-minute cycle for up to 300 square feet or a 20-minute cycle for smaller spaces up to 150 square feet. [Press Release]
