iPhone 6 Could Feature 8MP Camera Only
The next generation iPhone will most probably continue to attract plenty of attention. After all, any upcoming iPhone models would set the grapevines alight with chatter, so we do not see this situation change should there be a whiff of the iPhone 6 in the air. Having said that, we have already heard some rumors about the iPhone 6 this week alone, and here is the latest bit of gossip concerning this next generation smartphone (which should be still some time off away, especially when you consider how the iPhone 5s was released not too long ago). Word has it (from China, and an anonymous source to boot) that Apple will continue to use an 8-megapixel sensor for its camera, albeit that there will be improvements in other departments.
While the number of megapixels that are available in a particular camera sensor is not all that important these days, some folks do place plenty of emphasis on it. While Apple will continue to fly the 8-megapixel flag high, it will now come with optical image stabilization (OIS) in addition to other unnamed improvements – at least according to the rumor, of course. What do you think if this were to be true – would it be a factor in your next smartphone purchase?
