For every single smartphone that is in the market, chances are you will end up with a model that has slightly lesser specifications (in comparison to high end models, that is), which is a good thing. After all, not everyone is rich enough to own the latest and greatest device, so to find a compromise in the middle is always more than welcome. At first glance, the Huawei Ascend G6 that you see above could very well look like the Ascend P6, making this more or less the poor man’s Ascend P6 so to speak.
After all, it will retail for a more affordable price point, where it has been certified for sale in China by the relevant authorities. As for the hardware specifications of the Huawei Ascend G6, it will come with a chassis that measures 7.5mm thin, a 540 x 960 resolution display, a quad-core 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6582 processor, an 8MP shooter that is located at the back alongside a 5MP camera in front for those video calls, a microSD memory card slot for expansion purposes, and support for China Mobile’s TD-SCDMA network instead. Huawei’s Emotion UI 2.0 has also been thrown into the mix, and as for the Android version that will ship with it, it should most probably be Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
