Fujifilm FinePix S9400W/S9200 Announced
[CES 2014] Taking photos in the moment can be difficult unless you have your camera already in hand and happen to be quick enough to snap a photo before the moment has passed. Unfortunately for the most part, smartphones, tablets, and even dedicated cameras need time to start up the camera system which means that by the time we want to snap an image, the moment has passed. If you’re looking for a camera that will be able to start up quickly, you might be interested in Fujifilm’s FinePix S9400W and S9200. According to Fujifilm, both cameras are able to start up in just 1 second, and will have an autofocus time of 0.3 seconds and will be ready to take the next shot in 0.5 seconds, allowing photographers to fire off a series of snaps with little downtime.
Both cameras are similar in terms of hardware, with the main difference between the S9400W and the S9200 is that the S9400W has WiFi connectivity, allowing for wireless sharing of photos and videos through the use of the Fujifilm Camera Application. Apart from that, both cameras will pack a 16MP CMOS sensor and will come with a f/2.9-6.5 lens that allows for optical zoom of 24-1200mm. Both cameras will also feature an ISO range of up to 12,800 and will also be able to snap macro photos from a range as close as 1cm. Priced at $349.95 and $329.95 respectively, the Fujifilm FinePix S9400W and S9200 will be available in March 2014.
