Back in 2013, Blizzard announced the next expansion of Diablo 3, Reaper of Souls. The game has been given a release date for the 25th of March 2014 and gamers can already go ahead and pre-purchase their games. Blizzard will be offering three different versions which gamers can buy: a standard edition which is just the game only, a digital deluxe edition, and a collector’s edition, the latter of which Blizzard has recently posted images of on its Diablo 3 website and which you can see for yourself in the image above.
Priced at $79.99, the collector’s edition of Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls will only be available as a physical copy and according to Blizzard, will be limited in quantities and only available at select retailers. As a recap for those who aren’t familiar, the collector’s edition will come bundled in a special packaging and will feature a Malthael mouse pad, a hardback collector’s edition art book, the Reaper of Souls soundtrack, and behind-the-scenes Blu-ray/DVD two-disc set.
It will also come with the same digital goodies bundled with the digital deluxe edition, which includes a spectral hound minion and transmogrified gear, a treasure goblin pet for those who play World of Warcraft, and exclusive Battle.net portraits and Malthael decals for StarCraft 2 players. So, who’s planning on getting the collector’s edition?
