Call of Duty: Ghosts gamers, if you’re looking forward to additional content, Activision might have something for you guys in the form of an upcoming DLC called Onslaught which is expected to make its way onto Xbox Live come 28th of January. This was not confirmed by Activision officially, but a picture of the DLC was spotted in a local GameStop, thanks to Twitter user @SeriousSix2010 who posted a photo of the poster onto his Twitter account (as pictured above). The upcoming DLC is expected to introduce new maps, a new weapon, and also the first new episode of the game’s new Extinction mode.
The maps are titled Fog, Bayview, Containment, and Ignition. The poster also shows off a new weapon (or weapons?) titled “Maverick AR & Sniper Rifle”, which is why it is unclear if they’re referring to just one weapon, or if there will be two new weapons that will be introduced in the upcoming DLC. Activision has promised at least four DLC packs for Call of Duty: Ghosts, and Onslaught is said to be the first, followed by Devastation, Invasion, and Nemesis which are all expected to be released later this year. Like we said there’s no telling if the game will see a release on the 28th of January as the poster suggests, but assuming the information is accurate, we guess this is a date gamers will want to mark down on their calendars!
