[CES 2014] Bluetooth technology seems to work best when it comes to the minor stuff, such as wireless audio or wireless speakers, as well as a hands-free kit when it comes to carrying out a conversation on a smartphone or tablet. Other than that, there has not been any real groundbreaking leaps made to Bluetooth technology, which pretty much remains fine as it is – at least for the moment. Well, Cobra has decided to fall back on Bluetooth wireless technology in order to deliver its new AirWave Mini. The Cobra AirWave Mini was specially designed to be a hands-free portable speaker and speakerphone, boasting of a weatherproof resistant exterior which delivers up to 10 hours of non-stop music playback, and another 120 hours of standby time. It might have been announced at CES this year, but you will not be able to find it hit retail store shelves until February next year for $39.99 a pop. Seems to me that the AirWave Mini is a decent portable speaker that lets you enjoy your music with other folks without having to be tethered at all.
