BRAVIA W950B And W850B Lead Sony’s 2014 LED HD TV Lineup

sony-w950B-bravia[CES 2014] Sony has introduced a new line of BRAVIA LED HD TVs to complement its new 4K UHD models, the W950B and W850B series lead this new lineup. The former is Sony’s 2014 flagship LED TV series with TRILUMINOS display working in unison with the company’s X-Reality Pro engine which analyzes images from any source to reproduce accurate color without upsetting the brightness, hue and saturation. Sony’s One-Flick entertainment feature is also included in the W950B models, allowing users to access content from the internet, digital broadcast, DVR or local files by simply flicking up or down. It remembers viewing preferences and makes recommendations based on viewing history. Screen mirroring via NFC is also supported, all users need to do is simply tap their NFC tablet or smartphone to the One-Flick Remote Control. The W950B series also incorporates Sony’s proprietary X-tended Dynamic Range, which results in deeper blacks, higher peaks and detailed gradation.All W950B and W850B series models tout a new Wedge form factor, the shape allows for larger speakers that provide powerful sound “unprecedented for a flat-screen TV.” ClearAudio+ digital signal processing provides improved high quality audio and customers looking for an even richer sound experience can opt for an optional wireless subwoofer. Both W950B and W850B series TVs are 3D capable and come with 2 pairs of glasses. 65-inch and 55-inch models are offered in the BRAVIA W950B series while 70-inch and 60-inch models with the W850B series, they will be available in spring 2014.

Also included in the company’s 2014 LED TV lineup are the W630B and W600B series which offer full 1080p picture quality with X-Reality PRO engine for improved clarity, color and detail. Both include ClearAudio+ for optimal sound and support for an optional subwoofer. W630B is offered in 60-inch and the W600B in 48-inch and 40 inch sizes. They will also be available in spring 2014. The entire 2014 BRAVIA lineup comes with a new user interface. Using built-in Wi-Fi users will be able to stream content from the internet or a home network. The live “Football” mode lets users view footage from a variety of online sources all through the push of a button. Picture and sound settings will automatically be adjusted to emulate an authentic stadium experience.
