Right now, Acer happens to be the fourth-largest PC maker in the world, and it is interesting to see them working on expanding the company’s horizons. In fact, it was just yesterday that Acer rolled out the new Liquid Z5 smartphone, and has a fair number of other 4G smartphones up their sleeves for a rollout later this year.
What caught the media’s attention was Acer’s vice president of corporate account business division, Peter Shieh, who shared that they are planning on rolling out a range of wearable devices later in 2014. Among the plethora of such devices include smartwatches. From what we have heard on the ground, Acer did demonstrate some of its wearable devices to select clients at the recently concluded CES.
