Rare Beatles Album To Be Released As iTunes Exclusive

Heads up Beatles’ fans, if you’re looking to get your hands on more Beatles content, you will be able to later this week as the Beatles’ album, The Beatles’ Bootleg Recordings 1963, will be released as an iTunes exclusive. The album will comprise of 59 tracks, 44 of which were recorded live from the BBC radio, and with the remaining 15 being outtakes of studio recordings, essentially songs that did not necessarily make the final cut which we’re sure fans will be more than happy to get their hands on.

However at the same time we’re sure this might not necessarily sit too well with fans who might have bought the so-called “complete” box set at $149 a few years ago, but we suppose this digital copy will be good for those who aren’t necessarily looking for a physical copy of the Beatles’ albums. According to the BBC, the reason behind the release of this album is to help extend the copyright on the session tapes of the songs. According to EU law, copyright is given for 70 years if the song/album is officially released, otherwise it is only valid for 50 years.
