Earlier in the morning, we brought you word that the upcoming flagship model from Oppo, the Oppo Find 7, will be the first smartphone in the world that will feature a high resolution 2K display. This is an unprecedented development of course, and they also happen to be the ones who rolled out the first Full HD smartphone with the Oppo Find 5, more or less ushering in the age of Full HD smartphone displays not too long ago. Well, this time around, apart from the 2K display, we have word that the Oppo Find 7 will not arrive with a 5.7” display, and neither will it sport an even more ridiculous tablet-sized 7” touchscreen display, which has made its rounds as rumors before.
Other than the confirmation that the screen size will not be 5.7” in dimension, one question that needs to be asked is this – just how large, or small, will it be? Will it pass the 6” mark, or will it take on a less ambitious 5” display size? Only time will be able to tell, and we do hope that in the mean time, Carl Pei, Oppo’s former International Markets Manager, will continue to shed more light on the Oppo Find 7 on Google+ as he did before .
