This also meant that the enterprise market was up for grabs, although according to a report from The Times of India, it would seem as though Nokia is picking up where BlackBerry has left off as the Finnish company has recently claimed that they have managed to add over 400 firms as customers for their range of Lumia Windows Phone devices. According to Nokia India director, sales, Raghuvesh Sarup, “Bring your own device (BYOD) has helped us gain strong ground in the enterprise segment, especially for our Lumia smartphones. With Microsoft as a partner with us, companies have access to productivity solutions as well […] CIOs are primarily concerned about the security aspect which is again well taken care of by Lumia range” Will Nokia be able to gain a lead over the likes of Apple and Google? Or will BlackBerry fight back and reclaim their crown? We guess only time will tell.
