How many of you wake up every morning from Monday to Friday, being raring to go to work? Some might dread at the very thought of showing up at the office, even more so when your boss checks up on you in the form of a telepresence robot. Well, I don’t think that too many employees over at Twitter have much to complain about, as Glassdoor’s result on the 50 best places to work for has been revealed, with Twitter trumping the likes of Facebook, Google, and Apple when it falls back upon the different metrics such as work satisfaction, salary, and CEO leadership, among others.
To make matters more interesting, this is also the very first year where the social network made its way to the top 50 list. As for the top company on the overall list, Bain & Company was top dog. It does seem as though times are going great for Twitter this year, where their IPO went ahead without any issue last month, while its shares have been performing pretty well. Free food, communal office space and a fantastic view of the city would surely add to the overall brownie points that make Twitter such a joyful place to be at.
