Owners of Sony’s PlayStation consoles and handhelds have known for quite some time how beneficial the company’s PlayStation Plus service has been over the years as not only does it offer a number of great features, but the company also regularly offers some great games and content for free. Last month, PlayStation 3 owners were able to download Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen for free through PlayStation Plus, and this month will feature Borderlands 2.
PlayStation Plus subscribers that own a PlayStation 3 will be able to head on over to the PlayStation Store later today to download Borderlands 2 for free once Sony runs its weekly update of the store. Make sure to jump on this offer ASAP as once it’s no longer free, you’ll be kicking yourself for not downloading it, like I am right now for forgetting to download Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen last month.
The PlayStation Store will also be entering its second week of its ongoing holiday sale, which includes games at up to 30 percent off of their original pricing. You’ll be able to purchase titles like The Amazing Spider-Man, Dragon’s Crown, Marvel vs. Capcom Origins and other titles this week. Be sure to check out the PlayStation Store later today to see what games will be discounted this week.
