According to the reports, the handset has been pegged for an announced at the end of the year, but it seems that ZTE has decided to make the announcement a little earlier and has since started to send out invites to a ZTE event that has been scheduled for the 19th of November, as pictured above in the event invitation received by the folks at CtechCN.com.
For those unfamiliar with the ZTE nubia 5S, the handset is said to be a high-end device which will feature a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset, 2GB of RAM, and a 5” Full HD 1080p display, definitely putting it in competition with other Android devices of that caliber. It is also said to sport a 13MP rear-facing camera, a 5MP front-facing camera, and will support both TDD and FDD LTE networks thanks to the version of the Qualcomm chipset inside the device. No word on which version of Android the handset will be running on, and while we can certainly hope for Android 4.4 KitKat, chances are we might be looking at Android 4.3 Jelly Bean instead.
