The Xbox One is yet to be released, gamers around the world are anxiously waiting for the console to ship. Even when it does, they won’t be able to buy a white Xbox One, as these units were exclusively handed out to members of the Xbox team by Microsoft. A white Xbox One eBay auction is well underway, proceeds from the auction will go to charity, and already a lot of people have started bidding for this very exclusive Xbox One unit.

The item, a “Xbox One White Exclusive Launch Team Commemorative Special Edition,” includes a white controller, chat headset, Kinect sensor and an “I Made This” engraving on the right side of the disc tray. As of this writing, the current bid stands well over $1,700, that’s much more than you would pay for a conventional Xbox One unit. The item also comes with Day One Achievement and a special Launch Team Achievement. The unit is brand new, unused and unopened. This particular unit was donated to GamesAid by Intent Media’s Chris Dring. This charity auction ends on November 8th, so if you’re interested, better take part in that bidding war now. Whoever has the highest bid will receive the console “immediately post launch” come November 22nd.
