WhatsApp is undoubtedly one of the most popular messaging platforms around at the moment, and while it made its initial debut on iOS devices, surprisingly the company has yet to release an update that would bring the app in line with the look and feel of Apple’s iOS 7, which sports a cleaner, flatter, and more minimal look, instead choosing to update the app for other platforms instead. WhatsApp users might also recall how long it took the company to release an updated app for the iPhone 5’s larger display.

In any case back in October, we managed to take a look at some screenshots of the upcoming update, and now thanks to YouTuber, ITRaidDE, he has managed to post a hands-on video of what appears to be WhatsApp for iOS 7. Of course there’s no telling if this is the genuine article here, but so far it looks pretty good, especially its build number which shows 2.11.5.3129, compared to the current WhatsApp build on the iTunes App Store which is at 2.11.4. In any case the video does not really show us anything new in the app, apart from its new icon, so essentially what this means is that we could just be looking at a new coat of paint here, rather than major changes under the hood.

Of course since the app hasn’t been released, we can’t tell for ourselves what the changes are, but in any case if you want to see what WhatsApp for iOS 7 could look like, check it out in the video above! Still no word on when the app will be released, but hopefully it will be soon.
