Verizon has added three new smartphones to its lineup today. The biggest being, quite literally, the 5.9 inch HTC One Max. The rumors we had heard previously have actually turned out to be true, Big Red really is launching the Galaxy S3 mini and the Galaxy S4 mini. Both smartphones are now available for purchase through Verizon’s retail stores and its website.
After $50 mail-in rebate card, the Verizon Galaxy S4 mini will cost users $99.99 along with a conventional two year service contract, and after $50 mail-in rebate debit card, the Galaxy S3 mini will cost $49.99 with a two year contract. Customers who don’t want either smartphone on a conventional contract may opt for the Verizon Edge program in which they will have to make 24 equal monthly payments to the carrier for the device. Verizon isn’t going down the same road as AT&T, which is currently offering the Galaxy S3 mini for $0.99 on contract. Galaxy S3 mini was one of the devices that Samsung launched last year, Verizon has come quite late to the party. Galaxy S4 mini came out just this year, it has a 4.3 inch qHD display, a 1.7Ghz dualcore processor and an 8 megapixel rear camera. You can purchase Galaxy S3 mini and Galaxy S4 mini from Verizon here and here.
