Let’s say your one of the unlucky many who won’t have a PlayStation 4 when it launches on November 15, but you’re still hoping you can get your hands on Sony’s next-generation console somehow. If you happen to live in the New York City area, Sony has made it as easy as standing in line for the next day and a half as the company has announced it’ll have 444 PlayStation 4 consoles available for sale at their midnight launch event location.
Sony will have a total of 444 PlayStation 4 consoles for sale at The Standard, High Line Hotel with lines to purchase one of them starting right now at Washington and Little West 12th. Only credit cards will be accepted for those planning to purchase a PlayStation 4 at Sony’s launch event, so for the love of all that is good, don’t bring cash with you.
The launch event will also have an arcade of 30 kiosks, which we would assume would be filled with PlayStation 4s as well as some of its launch titles, as well as an interactive lighting installation.
So if you don’t have a pre-order for a PlayStation 4 and live nearby, you better get yourself bundled up, charge up all of your mobile devices, and head down to the launch event location ASAP.
