Just a few days ago, MCV spoke with Sony’s senior product manager Ben Law in regards to the possibility of there being a PlayStation 4 & PlayStation Vita bundle coming in the near future. According to Law, the PS4 / PS Vita bundle is expected to hit this holiday season, although Sony has yet to make any official announcements of the upcoming bundle. As much as we’d love some official news from Sony regarding the bundle, an image published in this week’s issue of MCV of the PS4 / PS Vita bundle is as close to a confirmation as we’re going to get.
As you can see from the image above, the PlayStation 4 & PlayStation Vita “Ultimate Edition” bundle is expected to be available in December 2013. Law previously told MCV the bundle would be made available prior to Christmas, so a December 2013 release seems about right to us.
The image published in this week’s MCV also shows off what the bundle will look like as the PlayStation 4 and its DualShock 4 controller sits next to Sony’s handheld, the PlayStation Vita. Sitting in between the DualShock 4 and the PlayStation Vita is a memory card, although the image is too small to tell what size it’ll be in the bundle.
