PlayStation 4 Now Available In U.S., Canada

It’s been quite the long road for the Sony PlayStation 4 as we first heard of the console just earlier this year, to which the company has slowly but surely revealed bits and pieces of information regarding the next-generation console. If you recall, Sony didn’t even reveal what its PlayStation 4 looked like when they first announced the console, instead focusing on what it could do as well as the new DualShock 4 and the PlayStation 4’s camera. After a long year, the next generation of video game consoles has officially started as the PlayStation 4 is now available for purchase.

Gamers in the U.S. and Canada will be able to purchase the PlayStation 4 around the world, although some notable countries, like Japan, will have to wait until next year to pick up their console. At its launch, only one version of the PlayStation 4 is available and that’s the 500GB version, which includes a mono headset, USB cable, HDMI cable, DualShock 4 controller and PlayStation Network-related vouchers, while supplies last. The PlayStation 4 retails for $399 and doesn’t include the PlayStation 4 camera, which costs and additional $59.99 for those who wish to purchase the accessory.
