Planning on getting the Nokia Lumia 1520? Well it turns out that if you pre-ordered it, your order might have been delayed, depending on when you placed it. This is according to reports, it seems that both AT&T and Microsoft’s online stores have sent out messages to customers who have placed their pre-orders for the Lumia 1520, informing them that due to overwhelming demand for the handset, the order might have been delayed.
According to the message, “Because of overwhelming demand, your Nokia Lumia 1520 order is delayed in shipping. As soon as your shipping label is printed, we’ll send you an email with the tracking information. You can also track your order on our site.” Unfortunately there was no mention as to how long the delay would be, so it looks like customers will just have to play the waiting game.
The handset was originally set for a release on the 22nd of November, the same day as the Microsoft Xbox One, but to make up for it, Microsoft has reportedly given customers a $25 promo code that they can use in the store towards their next purchase.
