Nintendo Bundling 3DS With Luigi’s Mansion Plus 2DS, 3DS XL Black Friday Sales

We think it’s safe to say Nintendo has flooded the market with a number of options in terms of bundles for this holiday season. We’ve seen bundles for both the Wii U and the Nintendo 3DS that offer exclusive hardware as well as copies of certain games, and this week, the company has announced a new 3DS bundle as well as special discounts at certain retailers for both the Nintendo 2DS and Nintendo 3DS XL.

First, let’s start with the bundle. Nintendo will make a new bundle available starting on November 28 that will include a Cobalt Blue 3DS as well as a copy of Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon for $169.99. Just to remind you, this is the Nintendo 3DS, not the larger Nintendo 3DS XL.

Aside from the Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon bundle, NIntendo will also hold retailer-specific deals this week, starting with Walmart who will have the Nintendo 2DS available for $99.96 starting on November 28. On November 29, Target shoppers will be able to purchase a Nintendo 3DS XL for $149.99. Then starting on December 2, retail copies of Nintendo Land will come bundled with a Luigi-themed Wii Remote Plus for $59.99.

So there you have it. If you are planning to pick up some Nintendo handhelds this week, you can officially consider yourself prepared to take on the Black Friday crowds.
