Square Enix’s upcoming Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster is a title we’re sure many RPG fans have been looking forward to as the game has been completely remastered from the bottom up to offer improved graphics and a couple of other tweaks to the original title. For several months, Square Enix has shown off screenshots and videos of the game in action without a hint of when the game is expected to be released, but today, the company has finally announced when Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD will be released.
Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster will be released on March 18, 2014 on the PlayStation 3. Square Enix is also announcing Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster will also include Final Fantasy X: Eternal Calm and Final Fantasy X-2: Last Mission, which were previously only available in the each respective games’ international versions. The limited edition of Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster will include a redesigned package art that will feature new artwork that will include the title’s main protagonists, Tidus and Yuna.
Square Enix says details for the PlayStation Vita version of Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster will be announced at a later time, although we hope the Vita version will launch alongside the PlayStation 3 version. We’ll be keeping our fingers crossed.
