Digg announced its latest service, Digg Video, last week that would help bring all of the most viral videos on the Internet into one easy-to-find location. Users of Digg’s iOS application will now be able to get in on the Digg Video goodness as the company has released an update that now supports their latest service.
As Digg explained previously when they announced the launch of Digg Video, the way the company populates videos is by seeing just how popular they are across Facebook, Twitter and Digg’s own service. Today’s update makes the Digg iOS experience pretty much identical to the web version, which is certainly a good thing. In addition to a more unified look, the Digg iOS app also patches a number of bugs as well as rolls out improved performance.
There’s currently no word as to when Android Digg users can expect today’s update to become available on their platform. Hopefully it won’t be too long until you Android users can waste as much time with Digg Videos as iOS and web users are probably wasting. Or, you could just continue to browse Reddit as we’re sure many of these “viral videos” are first popping up on that site before it makes its way across social networks.
