We’re just under one month from the release of Microsoft’s next-generation video game console, the Xbox One, and with every day that passes, we’re learning some new details regarding the console. We recently learned the Xbox One will record your best FIFA 14 play automatically and we even spotted what achievements will look like on the console, but there’s some new information coming out regarding those achievements.

The new achievement system that will be used on the Xbox One will have color-coding options available, which will be the most helpful during local multiplayer games. Xbox Corporate VP Marc Whitten explains via his Twitter account the Xbox One’s achievements will pop up in a player’s chosen color, which you’re able to get a glimpse of thanks to a recent livestream of the Xbox One title Powerstar Golf that is available to view on Twitch.

This is certainly an improvement over the Xbox 360’s achievement notification as the console used the player’s controller number to indicate which player currently playing unlocked an achievement. This system resulted in some confusion from players, especially if you’re playing the Xbox 360 on a smaller television set.

There’s no word yet on how many color options will be available for players to choose from, but we’re sure we’ll find out as soon as the Xbox One is released next month.
