The phone will sport a 5.1” sheet of sapphire crystal that offers up hardiness only second to diamond. The case of the phone will be made from grade 5 titanium, making it twice as strong as stainless steel, and will see the rest of the device wrapped in real calf leather that will come in a variety of different colors. The phone will also come packed with some of Vertu’s services for the elite, such as Life, offering the user access to private clubs and invite-only events, and Certainty, which offers encryption and security features.
As far as the rest of the phone is concerned, the Vertu Constellation will feature a 1.7GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon chip with a 4.3” 720p HD display, a 13MP rear-facing camera, 32GB of onboard storage, along with WiFi, Bluetooth, and NFC connectivity options. It will also run on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean which we guess is a nice surprise. Priced at around $6,630, it is definitely out of the reach for the average consumer.
