Samsung’s latest phablet, the Galaxy Note 3, is all set to be released in the U.S. The first third party retailer to sweeten the deal is Radio Shack. It has announced that Galaxy Note 3 will be available from October 4th, the AT&T and Sprint versions of the phablet that is. Customers looking to save some money can trade in their old Galaxy Note devices. Radio Shack will knock off $175 for customers who bring in a Galaxy Note 2. Those who want to trade in the original Galaxy Note will receive $100 off their upgrade cost.
Both AT&T and Sprint have already announced the release date of Galaxy Note 3. The carriers will begin selling the phablet online and in their retail stores on October 4th. T-Mobile is also expected to begin shipping the Note 3 this week. Verizon, the largest U.S. carrier, is going to release the Galaxy Note 3 on October 10th. Carriers are also offering the Galaxy Gear smartwatch alongside the phablet, though its price is not being subsidized nor is it being offered in a bundle for a discounted price. Customers who have an old Galaxy Note lying around and are willing to upgrade to Samsung’s latest offering can consider Radio Shack’s offer, its the best any third party retailer is offering right now.
