Polaroid iM1836 Now Available For Purchase

Earlier this year during CES, camera manufacturer Polaroid took the wraps off their entry-level micro four-thirds camera that runs on Android, the Polaroid iM1836. Well the good news is that even after waiting for almost a year and this is the camera you still have your heart set on, you’re in luck as the camera has finally been released and is available for purchase via retailers for a rather affordable price tag of $299. Interestingly enough this is even cheaper than Polaroid had originally announced and ultimately you would have saved yourself $100 in total.

So what can you expect for your money? Well for starters you can look forward to a 10-30mm kit lens that will come bundled with the camera. The camera itself will feature a 18.1MP sensor and a 3.5” touchscreen display, which you can use to interact with its Android 4.1 Jelly Bean user interface. Thanks to its operating system of choice, it is possible that you can look forward to more features and flexibility compared to other cameras that use their own operating system. The iM1836 will come with both Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity and Full HD 1080p video capture, with Polaroid boasting “DSLR quality” for its photos.
