The Panasonic Lumix GM1 is extremely small in terms of its physical size, where it will be equipped with a 16-megapixel sensor, a 3” LCD display that tilts, 1/16,000 shutter speed, the ability to capture video in Full HD (1080p) resolution, and of course, something that seems to be the staple more and more these days in digital cameras – integrated Wi-Fi support, which was also spotted in the recently announced Sony Cyber-shot RX10.
The Panasonic Lumix GM1 is a looker for sure, where it arrives in a metal alloy frame, sporting classy looking aluminum dials that are complemented by a brushed-steel finish. Unfortunately, we do not quite have a lid on the pricing details as at press time, so hopefully, something more concrete from Panasonic will be shared later in the day. In any case, it will not be dirt cheap, but should be on par with other higher end Micro Four Thirds shooters in the market.
