The pictured attached to the tweet also reveals what appears to be the user interface of the app. While the app itself was announced during Nokia World, it was unfortunately not available for usage yet which meant that most of us remained in the dark as to how the app might look like on the Windows Phone platform. Apart from slightly moving the buttons around and giving some of the buttons a slightly different look, the overall feel appears to be similar to its iOS and Android counterpart, which we’re not sure is a good or bad thing.
At the moment there are plenty of Instagram alternatives and third-party alternatives available for Windows Phone. Some of which might offer up a bit more functionality which some Windows Phone users might find hard to get away from despite the official app’s launch, but we guess we will have to wait and see what the numbers say.
