Rockstar Games’ Grand Theft Auto 5 has been expectedly receiving attention both good and bad ever since its release. A game this large most likely wouldn’t be released without a few hiccups here and there, which is why Rockstar has done their best to patch up the game as best they can. It looks like Grand Theft Auto 5 players can expect a new patch to be released today.
The 1.03 patch for Grand Theft Auto 5 weighs in at a total of 39MB and 59MB on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, respectively. At this time, Rockstar has yet to release any official patch notes for today’s patch, although users who have already experienced today’s patch suggest the company may have closed some exploits found in Grand Theft Auto Online that would allow players to farm for experience points and money, as well as a fix to stop players from repeating the same missions over and over again.
Players who have updated their copies of Grand Theft Auto 5 have yet to see a fix for the ongoing issue regarding missing characters from Grand Theft Auto Online. Until Rockstar releases an official patch list for today’s update, we guess we’ll just have to sit back and wait to hear what exactly they fixed in GTA 5.
