The iPhone 5s comes in three different colors, but it is not surprising to hear that Apple’s gold iPhone 5s is the best seller among the lot for obvious reasons. Since imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, here is the GooPhone i5S that happens to arrive in gold, and needless to say, it is a clone of the iPhone 5s, which will retail for $199.99 a pop – without the need for a contract, too.

I am quite sure that GooPhone has no qualms about paying “tribute” to the gold iPhone 5s with their GooPhone i5S, as it is already up for pre-order. Heck, gold isn’t the only shade in which it will arrive in, as it will also be offered in a trio of colors that the iPhone 5s comes in. I suppose if you have missed the boat where there real deal is concerned, you might be tempted to pick up a clone, although in the long run, you will most probably regret doing so. Who are you trying to kid? The GooPhone i5S will come with a 4” display at 540×960 resolution, a 5-megapixel camera at the back with LED flash, a 2-megapixel front facing camera, a dual-core 1.GHz MediaTek MT6572 processor, 1GB RAM, 16GB of internal memory, a 1,500 mAh battery and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean as the operating system of choice, all crammed into a chassis that weighs and measures exactly as the iPhone 5s.
