Flickr Gets New Beta Design And New Photo Experience

For those of you who are frequent users of Flickr, you might have noticed that Flickr has just received a new beta design from Yahoo, where it will deliver a new photo viewing experience. Joining up is a snap, all you need to do is to just click the “Try our new Photo Experience” button on any photo page on Flickr, and you ought to notice three main changes. First of all, the photo would be bigger than ever before, right about 25% larger in size compared to its predecessor – meaning that more pixels are crammed in to deliver a cleaner view.

Apart from that, the “story” would be located right next to the photo, as all photos have a story behind them, such as in the comments, tags, as well as photo-specific information. The whole idea of the new beta design in Flickr was to present a larger image that does not require you to perform much, if any, scrolling, at the same time check out whatever other information it carries.
